This Freelancer Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of the Freel.ee platform as a freelancer and forms a binding contract between you and Freel.ee.

1. Scope of Work

You agree to provide freelance services to clients based on:

  • Project details agreed upon via the platform
  • Milestones, timelines, and deliverables defined before work begins
  • The understanding that Freel.ee is not your employer — you act as an independent contractor

2. Payment Terms

  • You will receive payment only for approved and completed work.
  • Freel.ee uses third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
  • Freel.ee may deduct a service fee from each payment (details shown before accepting work).
  • Freel.ee is not responsible for delays caused by clients or payment providers.

3. Ownership & Licensing

  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you transfer ownership of final deliverables to the client upon full payment.
  • You retain rights to portfolio use, unless the client specifically requests NDA or exclusivity.

4. Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver work on time and to a professional standard.
  • Maintain clear communication with the client.
  • Do not plagiarize, copy others’ work, or violate third-party rights.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and platform policies.

5. Disputes

In the event of a dispute with a client:

  • Freel.ee may offer non-binding mediation.
  • Final resolution is between you and the client, unless the platform’s escrow or resolution center rules apply.

6. Independent Contractor

  • You are not an employee of Freel.ee.
  • You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and legal obligations.

Client Agreement

This Client Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of Freel.ee as a client seeking freelance services. By hiring freelancers on Freel.ee, you agree to the following:

1. Project Responsibilities

  • You must provide clear, complete project briefs and requirements.
  • You are responsible for reviewing, accepting, or requesting revisions on deliverables in a timely manner.
  • You may not use freelancer work without completing full payment.

2. Payments

  • You agree to pay freelancers according to the agreed price and terms using Freel.ee’s payment system.
  • Freel.ee may charge a service fee for facilitating the transaction.
  • Funds may be held in escrow (if applicable) until work is approved.

3. Ownership of Deliverables

  • Once full payment is made, you receive full rights to use the final deliverables.
  • You do not have ownership of drafts or unused concepts unless agreed upon.

4. Prohibited Behavior

Clients may not:

  • Harass or pressure freelancers for unpaid work
  • Request free samples as a condition of hire
  • Cancel jobs to avoid payment after delivery
  • Circumvent Freel.ee to avoid paying fees

Violations may result in account suspension.

5. Disputes

  • If there’s a disagreement over work quality or delivery, you agree to first attempt resolution with the freelancer via the platform.
  • Freel.ee may assist in resolving disputes but is not liable for final outcomes unless using platform-moderated escrow services.

6. No Employment Relationship

  • Hiring a freelancer through Freel.ee does not create an employment or agency relationship.
  • You are solely responsible for compliance with local employment laws if applicable.

Final Note (Applies to Both Agreements)

By using Freel.ee as a freelancer or client, you agree to comply with our:

  • Terms of Service
  • Privacy Policy
  • Acceptable Use Policy

Freel.ee reserves the right to update these agreements and will notify users of significant changes.
