Freel.ee respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. It is our policy to respond to valid copyright infringement notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

1. DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been posted or shared on Freel.ee without your permission, you may submit a DMCA Takedown Notice to our designated agent.

To be legally valid, your notice must include the following:

  1. Your full name and contact information (email address, phone number, physical address)
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  3. The exact URL or location on Freel.ee where the allegedly infringing content appears
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is unauthorized
  5. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  6. Your physical or electronic signature

2. Counter-Notification Procedure

If you are a user who believes that content you posted was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification. To be legally valid, it must include:

  1. Your name, address, phone number, and email
  2. A description of the content that was removed and the URL where it appeared
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal court in your district (or in [Your Location], if outside the U.S.) and will accept service of process from the complainant
  5. Your physical or electronic signature

3. Repeat Infringer Policy

Freel.ee reserves the right to:

  • Remove content without prior notice
  • Terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers, in accordance with the DMCA and our Terms of Service

4. Misuse of DMCA

Filing a false DMCA notice or counter-notice may result in legal liability. Only submit claims or responses if you honestly believe they are valid. Abuse of the DMCA process may result in suspension or banning of your Freel.ee account.
