1. How do I sign up as a freelancer?
Visit freel.ee and click “Sign Up.” Choose Freelancer during the registration process, then create your profile by adding your skills, experience, portfolio, and payment info.
2. How do I get jobs on Freel.ee?
You can:
- Browse available projects posted by clients
- Submit proposals with your bid, timeline, and message
- Get invited to apply by clients who like your profile
3. Does Freel.ee charge freelancers a fee?
Yes, Freel.ee takes a small service fee from your earnings. The percentage is clearly shown before you accept any project. This helps us maintain the platform and process payments securely.
4. When do I get paid?
After the client approves your submitted work:
- Funds are released to your account
- Payouts are processed via Stripe or PayPal
- Payouts may take 1–3 business days depending on your payment method
5. Can I work with clients outside Freel.ee after connecting here?
No. To keep the marketplace fair and secure, direct off-platform deals are not allowed. Violating this may result in account suspension or removal.
6. What happens if a client doesn’t respond or refuses payment?
You can:
- Report the issue using the Dispute feature on the project page
- Our team will step in to help mediate
- If you’re using escrow or milestone payments, we can hold funds until the issue is resolved
7. Can I delete or pause my account?
Yes. Just go to Account Settings > Close Account, or email us at info@freel.ee.
For Clients
1. How do I hire a freelancer on Freel.ee?
- Sign up and create a Client account
- Post a job with detailed requirements and budget
- Review applications or invite freelancers directly
- Choose your freelancer and start the project
2. How does payment work?
You’ll fund a project or milestone in advance. The funds are:
- Held securely in escrow (if enabled)
- Released to the freelancer only after you approve the work

- Review freelancer profiles, portfolios, and ratings
- Read proposal details and message them directly
- Use smaller milestone payments to test their work first
5. What if the freelancer delivers poor work or disappears?
You can:
- Request revisions through the platform
- Initiate a dispute if the work is not delivered as promised

6. Can I cancel a project?
Yes, but:
- If you funded the project and the freelancer has started work, you may not receive a full refund
- Disputes can be raised for unresolved issues
7. Can I rehire the same freelancer?
Absolutely! You can send them direct invitations for new jobs or use the “Rehire” button from past projects.
